2025 Tesla Model Y: A Complete Brochure Breakdown

2025 Tesla Model Y Facelift

2025 Tesla Model Y Facelift

Tesla has dropped the wraps on the 2025 Facelifted Model Y. We see some evolution in Tesla’s newer models and the Model Y almost fluently speaking the new approach. The new Model Y visually follows the footsteps of the Cybertruck and comes with higher levels of tech. In this article, we’ll slice it up.

2025 Tesla Model Y Design

The Cybertruck set the stage for Tesla’s shift from ICE-esque iterations to something that Musk keeps reiterating – futuristic. There is a new front-end design with a sharp, angular leading edge and a thin LED setup. The air intake in the redesigned bumper is more prominent and seems more sporty.

In the rear, however, we largely see the same theme with the vaguely similar lightbar that connects the two tail lights. The diffuser at the back, like before is…faux, but has seen some minor changes. And unlike the test iterations, that ran on 20-inch induction wheels, the production-read version seems to sit on a set of 20-inch Helix wheels.

There are five exterior colour options including Pearl White, Stealth Grey, Quicksilver, Ultra Red and a new finish called ‘Glacier Blue’. We are still not sure about which ones will come to the UK.

2025 Tesla Model Y Interior

We’ll quickly wrap this up. New colours (black or black and white). There is a new centre console design and a new steering wheel (taken from Model 3). New door trim with wraparound ambient lighting. One less selection gear, which has moved to the centre console screen (fun).

The display is the same 15.4-inch unit but the rear passengers now get a new eight-inch unit. The rear, however, now gets power control and can impact the boot space by at least 100 litres. And for the ones that care, rear passengers can also play games on the eight-inch touchscreen at the back.

2025 Tesla Model Y Range

The official WLTP range for the new Tesla Model Y has not yet been released. In the current market, cars like the recently facelifted Skoda Enyaq and the Peugeot E-3008 come with 365- and 422 miles of range respectively. Tesla believes that the numbers can be challenged with the new iteration getting an uprated range of 6 miles over the previous one. The company has not highlighted any mechanical changes responsible for it, but we know that the new design has helped lower its drag coefficient from 0.23 to 0.22.

The new Model Y will be offered in two versions – an RWD and a long-range AWD. The expected WLTP range of the RWD is touted to be 289 miles with the long-range AWD to return 342 miles on a single charge.
